Arlena Hester Jackson has lived in Santa Fe for a period of 10 years. At home, her orange tabby “Montel” keeps her company. Her daughter Deirdre and son-in-law David Lawrenz and her two granddaughters Peyton and Kendall also live in Santa Fe. Prior to her arrival in Santa Fe, she lived in Seattle, Washington; Saratoga County, New York; and “many places in between.”
Arlena is a lifelong Presbyterian. She is the great-granddaughter of a Presbyterian pastor. She grew up in Hope Presbyterian Church, Chicago, Illinois. She also served as a Deacon at Union Presbyterian Church, Schenectady, New York, and previously at First Presbyterian Church. Arlena serves the community on the Committee Aid & Comfort. She currently is on the staff of PMS and holds a Master of Science degree in Psychology. She is interested in the growth of our church and continuing involvement in the Santa Fe community.
