Dignity Project Donations

A note of thanks to all of you generous people who donated sheets and towels to the Las Placitas dignity project here is the short list of what they took to the Juárez shelters this past week. They had to get extra drivers as the 15’ U-haul wouldn’t hold it all.

The donations included 330 pounds of pinto beans, 70 pounds of rice, 206 cases of food and water, 1,170 Dignity Kits, 216 Children’s Kits, 100+ Days for Girls Kits from DfG chapters in Durango and Las Cruces, 66 boxes of diapers, 14 boxes/bags of clothing, 100+ sheets, 1,000+ towels, 23 blankets, 25 backpacks, 100 tote bags, 6 boxes of flatware/serving utensils, 16 jigsaw puzzles, 6 soccer balls, 2 baby strollers, 1 highchair, and 1 baby bed.

Las Placitas Presbyterian extends a special thanks to United Church of Los Alamos,  Rio Rancho Presbyterian Church, and First Presbyterian Church of Santa Fe.
