In 2026, our sixth Santa Fe Summer Organ Academy will feature lectures and masterclasses with Dr. Kimberly Marshall.  Read more about Kimberly here.

Kimberly will present a free organ recital on Friday, July 31, at 5:30pm.  Academy participants will present a free organ recital on Friday, August 7, at 5:30pm.

Come to beautiful Santa Fe in mid-summer when the high desert is cool and music, art, and history beckon you from a variety of venues  (see list at the bottom of this page).

Daily Schedule
All events will be held in the Sanctuary of First Presbyterian Church and on the C.B. Fisk, Opus 133.

	Study Day with the Fisk—Schedule an hour of practice on the Fisk to prepare for masterclasses.	8am - 6pm

	Lecture: "The Earliest Organ Music (1360-1550)"	2 - 4pm
	Lecture: "Overcoming Performance Anxiety and Harnessing Your Full Musical Potential" (45 min.)	4 - 5pm

	Masterclass	10am - Noon

	Lecture: "Spanish Organ Music (1550-1700)"	2 - 4pm
	Special Lecture: “Breathing and Joint Health” focusing on wrists, ankles and feet by Dr. Marshall (45 min.)	4 - 5pm

Thursday, August 6
	Practice time	8am -10am
	Masterclass	10am - Noon
	Lunch on your own. Practice time	Noon - 2pm
	Lecture: “The Development of the Organ Sonata”	2 - 4pm
	Lecture: “Sound Bath” enjoy this unique meditative experience witih Dr. Marshall (55 min.)	4 - 5pm

	Participant Recital as part of the TGIF Concert Series — open to the public & free of charge	5:30 - 6:30pm

Participants—play in masterclasses attend lectures and have one hour practice time per day. (Cost $175 per day Aug 3, 4, 5, and 6, or $700 for all four days) Limited to 7 participants determined by date their applications are received.

Auditors—attend masterclasses and attend lectures (Cost: $75 per day, Aug 3, 4, 5, and 6). No limit on the number of Auditors.

During free time enjoy Kimberly Marshall’s Organ Recital (July 31), the Santa Fe Opera, the Desert Chorale, and the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival.
