The vibrant energy of the Santa Fe Soul Festival returns on August 26 and 27. Soul Rhythms free demo and jam session will be held at our church on Saturday from 3:00-4:30pm, and a Gospel Concert will be held at the Saint Francis Auditorium on Sunday.

Soul Rhythms

Douglas Cardwell, Principal Timpani Chair with the New Mexico Philharmonic, lectures and demonstrates the drums. And then the jam session begins. Bring a drum or other percussion instrument. There is a $100 cash prize for the most creative drum! Join the fun, Saturday, August 26, 3:00-4:30pm at First Presbyterian.

Gospel Concert

Sunday from 4:00-5:30pm the Soul Festival continues at Santa Fe’s Saint Francis Auditorium with a gospel concert featuring Toni Morgan & Friends, Christian Simmons (bass-baritone with the Santa Fe Opera), and Dancers from the National Dance Institute. Buy tickets.
