Mission Project, October
We are gathering fabric, quilting supplies and finished quilts to donate to the quilters that live on the Navajo Nation. During October we will be gathering donations of clean fabric (minimum of 1/4 yard), thread, rulers, batting, and fully functioning new or used sewing machines. Monetary donations also welcomed.
The sewing items will be given to Navajo quilters who live on the Navajo Nation. This will be the perfect opportunity for you quilters to destash!
We will also collect monetary donations to purchase items used by the Navajo to make beautiful and warm blankets for their families. To make a monetary donation, bring or mail a check to our church with “Navajo Quilt Project” in the memo line, or make a donation in our online special donation page, specifying “Navajo Quilt Project.”

October 7 Pop-Up Donation Event for Navajo Quilt Project
On Saturday October 7, from 9:00-11:00 am we will have a pop-up event where you can drop off any of the requested items outside the church on Grant Avenue.
After the pop-up event, you can still bring your items to our lobby during the rest of October. Then we will be sending the materials off to the Navajo Nation.
