Children’s Program, October 1

During the 10am worship service, our children will be making dreamcatchers, tying into our celebration of Indigenous people. They will also hear a story by N. Scott Momaday, the first Native American to win the Pulitzer Prize in fiction.

One of the most distinguished Native-American authors writing today, N. Scott Momaday is chiefly known for novels and poetry collections that communicate the fabulous oral legends of his Kiowa heritage. (Read more about Dr. Momaday: Encylopedia.com, N. Scott Momaday)
