PBM Breakfast, Jan 10, 8:30am
Presented by Men’s Breakfast is delighted to welcome Wes Granberg-Michaelson as the guest speaker this Saturday. Wes is an author and contributing editor to Sojourners, and his forthcoming book is The Soulwork of Justice: Four Movements of Contemplative Action.
Join us Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 8:30 in Pope Hall C.
Wes previously served for 17 years (1994–2011) as General Secretary of the Reformed Church in America. He is a graduate of Hope College and Western Theological Seminary in Holland, Michigan, and was ordained as a Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Reformed Church in America in 1984. Today, he continues his work through ecumenical organizations, writing and public speaking on issues facing world Christianity, and consulting with church-related organizations.
Please come and share in unifying fellowship, enjoy breakfast together, and take part in a thoughtful conversation. There will be time for questions and discussion about what lies ahead and what we can expect.
A suggested donation of $2 or more is appreciated to help cover the cost of food and beverages.
Breakfast will be prepared by our own Mark Bixby, serving up his professional, mouth-watering offerings. If you’d like some of Mark’s especially vigorous sourdough starter (it’s at its best this time of year!), you can contact him at markbixby11@icloud.com.
To receive monthly Evite reminders and RSVP links, please text Jim at 505-557-8110 or email jimelliott5247@gmail.com with your email address (if you’re not already on the list).
If you’d like to help out as a back-up or assistant chef, bottle washer, or busser for Prepared by Men’s Breakfast—or if you have a program suggestion—please text Jim as well. You can also reach out to Wally at bettesw@gmail.com or 214-893-7211 with ideas or offers to participate.
We look forward to seeing you there!
