Worship, March 11, 5:30pm
In troubled times, we must speak out. And hear the truth. We are not alone. God makes sure we have each other. Join the Rev. Tom Ulrich of the Presbytery of Santa Fe to hear how we can find hope, do justice, love tenderly, and walk humbly together. The service will be held in our sanctuary and via livestream.
As we seek to navigate the current political landscape in our nation, we recognize that the world is full of cold places that need to be warmed by hope, and, as the people of God, we are called to serve as the body of Christ walking toward the light of morning, imagining a country where no one is disposable, tucking kindnesses into corners where no one thought to look, and sharing the simple truth that our well-being is tied to one another. Everyone is invited to worship with us as together we comprise the instruments of God who shape the architecture of a new dawn.
On March 11th, the service will include responsive reading and singing, prayers, hymns, an anthem by our choir, and a message of hope by the Rev. Tom Ulrich, a retired Presbyterian minister. Rev. Ulrich’s message “Near the Fire?” will be based on Daniel 3:13-23, when Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego are thrown into the fire and find a mysterious fourth person there with them. And we will hear from a community leader who will share stories of those they serve and how we can be there to support those who need our help.
The Presbytery of Santa Fe began holding these services in November 2025 and holds one each month in different churches in the Presbytery. We are delighted to host the service for March. We invite the Santa Fe community and members of other faiths to join with us in this worship. Feel free to download and distribute the Flyer–March 11 2026 Justice and Hope.
