True Allegiance

Worship, Mar 22, 8:30 & 11am

As we dig into a tense exchange between Jesus and some of Jerusalem’s elite leaders around the question of paying taxes, we’ll ask ourselves what it might mean to “give to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s and to God the things that are God’s,” where our true or ultimate allegiance lies, and how we navigate making hard choices as we seek to live faithfully within the realities of a complex and messy world.

The scriptures for the day are Mark 11:27-33 & Mark 12:13-17.

Join Pastor Ashley at 8:30 in Pope Hall and at 11:00 in the sanctuary or via livestream.

The livestream is available through the Friday following the service, and the message portion is available on our Sunday Message page.
