Federal Legislation Is Coming This Friday!

Come out to celebrate the introduction of federal legislation to protect the Caja del Rio on May 8th. After over a decade of community collaboration and thanks to the leadership within the faith and Pueblo communities, federal legislation will be introduced this Friday.

The day includes Traditional Indigenous and Hispano performances, distingushed speakers, youth activities, hikes, lectures, and more. Lunch is provided.

The schedule for the day is:

• 11am–1pm; Lunch & Speakers
• 1pm–3pm: Activities

Location: USFS Headquarters Well Trailhead (off NM State Road 599 and Forest Road 24)

To get to the location, head as if you are going to the Municipal Recreation Sports Complex, but then keep going, go past the Marty Sanchez golf course, and then it’s the next left turn on County road 62.
