Adult Ed, Begins May 17, 9:45am

This Sunday Tony Arnold begins a three part series to help us understand Pride and our LGBTQIA+ siblings, many of whom feel that neither God nor the Church loves them. Join us to learn why both God’s love and self-love need to be at the core of Pride both as a celebration and a movement.

This 3-part series is called “Love Must Win!: The Church and LGBTQIA+ Pride.” Future class sessions (May 31 and June 14) are about inclusive community (both within and outside the Church) and Pride as a struggle for justice and liberation.

Adult ed classes in this series will be held in the McFarland Chapel and via Zoom. Because of the nature of this adult ed series, the sessions will not be recorded, so be sure to be there in person or via Zoom. We all need to learn how to better express God’s love and our love for LGBTQIA+ folks.
