Children & Youth, June 7, 10am
This week in Sunday School, we learn from Matthew 9:9-13, 18-26 as We share a story of how Jesus welcomes all people, shows compassion to those in need, and has the power to bring hope and new life.
We will hear how Jesus called Matthew, a tax collector whom many people avoided, to become one of his followers. We’ll also learn about a woman who trusted Jesus to heal her and a father who turned to Jesus in hope for his daughter.
Through these stories, children will see that Jesus notices those who feel left out, cares for people who are hurting, and invites each of us to follow him.
The children’s program begins in the worship service, and after receiving a blessing, the children leave for their activities.
