Worship, Jul 15, 6pm, Albuquerque
On Wednesday, July 15, at 6 pm at Second Presbyterian Church, in Albuquerque, individuals across the presbytery are invited to worship together and share the gift of fellowship and solidarity at “A Service of Justice and Hope.” As a community of faith, let us shine God’s light from the sanctuary upon the horizons of political realities, bringing luminous hope.
As our discipleship becomes a liturgy, our struggle for justice composes new psalms of equity, and our solidarity becomes a hymn that inspires and encourages us to stand shoulder to shoulder and heart to heart. As followers of Jesus Christ, let us worship with our fellow disciples, remaining radical in our love, relentless in our commitment, and unshakable in our faith, making the voice of the church impossible to ignore.
Please gather with us in unity at Second Presbyterian Church, located at 812 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque. This service will also be available via livestream.
This continues the monthly Presbytery of Santa Fe special services that address political issues of our day and hopes to engage in the ministry of connecting faith and politics for the common good, and to address the issues that are present in the public square.
