Join us at our Friday night concert as we enjoy Andrew Paulson, baritone, accompanied by Richard Bentley on piano, performing music by Brahms and Debussy. Sanctuary doors open at 5:15 pm and the concert begins at 5:30. The concert is free with donations accepted.
Paid parking is available in the county lot behind the church.

Andrew Paulson, Praised for his “strong voice” and “convincingly authoritative character,” Baritone Andrew Paulson hails from Great Falls, VA. Recent past engagements featured Mr. Paulson as Jim Crowley in An American Dream by Jack Perla with Virginia Opera, Anchorage Opera and Opera Maine, Marchese d’Obigny in La Traviata and New Years Gala Soloist with Opera Southwest, Bello in La Fanciulla del west, and Starveling in A Midsummer Night’s Dream with Virginia Opera. Other career highlights include Paul Jobs in the world premiere workshop of The (R)evolution of Steve Jobs, and Happy in La fanciulla del west with Santa Fe Opera as well as Figaro in Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Prince Ottokar in Der Freischütz, and the Mandarin in Turandot with Virginia Opera. He has also performed Giorgio Germont (La Traviata) with Opera on the Avalon, Clayton McAllister and Luther in Floyd’s Cold Sassy Tree at Sugar Creek Opera, Papageno in Die Zauberflöte, and Roger Chillingworth in The Scarlet Letter by Lori Laitman with Opera Colorado.
In addition to his operatic engagements, Mr. Paulson has also performed with the Utah Symphony, Virginia Symphony, Jacksonville Symphony, Santa Fe Symphony, and Tallahassee Symphony. Performed works include Orff’s Carmina Burana, Dvořák’s Te Deum, Handel’s Messiah, Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms and McCullough’s Holocaust Cantata. Mr. Paulson currently resides in Santa Fe, NM where he teaches a small voice studio and regularly performs with New Mexico Performing Arts Society.
Richard Bentley graduated from Oberlin and attended Univ. of Michigan where he earned a MM in Piano Performance in 1972. He lived in Boston MA from 1973 – 1998, where he wore many professional hats: musician, catering chef, and finally college registrar. In 1998 he retired and moved to Palm Springs, CA, and relocated to Santa Fe, NM in 2016.
