This week, we’ll explore Matthew 18:21–35 and Jesus’ teaching about forgiveness. Children learn how God’s foregiveness is a gift and how we can share that gift by forgiving others. (Note that there will be only one service this Sunday at 9am due to the downtown activities around Fiesta!)

Through the story of the unforgiving servant, children will discover that forgiveness is a gift we receive from God and a gift we can share with others. We’ll talk about what forgiveness looks like, why it can sometimes be difficult, and how God can help us let go of anger and choose compassion.

The children’s program begins in the worship service, and after receiving a blessing, the children leave for their activities.
