All Saints Day

Worship, Nov 1, 10am

As is our tradition, our All Saints’ Day worship service is devoted to remembering those loved ones who have passed away since the last All Saints’ Day. This year, our choir sings “Requiem” by Michael Trotta throughout the service. During the final hymn “For All the Saints,” the names of those to be remembered will be read between verses.

About Trotta’s “Requiem”

Michael Trotta experienced the death of his father suddenly, and unexpected, at age seven. He remembered there was an outpouring of love and care immediately after his father’s death, but soon the care and comfort stopped. The world had moved on. For Michael, he was left with silence and emptiness. The main thing that gave him comfort was music. It is his hope that this “Requiem” can fill that void for others. This music is a prayer for those who passed and for those who mourn. The choir offers this music with that hope that it will give peace and comfort.

Please join us for this very special day of the year as we remember the beloved saints who have entered God’s eternal care during the past year.

We have one worship  service this Sunday at 11:00 in the sanctuary and via livestream.

The livestream is available through the Friday following the service, and the message portion is available on our Sunday Message page.
