Grief Nest
Grief Groups, Tuesdays, Thursdays, 6:15pm
In January, grief groups continue to be offered to hold sacred space with compassion and empathy for those who are grieving. The Tuesday group is online. The Thursday group meets in the Rendon Room every other Thursday, starting January 4th. You must register as space is limited. Groups are lead by Joy Dyanne Stearns, Somatic Grief Specialist.

Procession, Service at the Cathedral, Dec 17
This year the Cathedral Basilica is hosting a worship service to observe Las Posadas, instead of the traditional procession from church to church we have done for many years. Please join Pastor Harry in our own informal procession to the Cathedral following our 11 am service. Food will be provided following worship.

A young couple is forced to leave their home because it is too dangerous to stay in the land of their birth. Empire showed up. They flee for their lives. The woman gives birth in a neighboring country but soon they are forced to flee again, heading north on a treacherous and dangerous 3,000-mile journey mostly on foot. Fear and unscrupulous people along the way add to their mounting trauma. It is a miracle they survive. They finally reach a land of promise, only to be taken advantage of again.
