Children’s Program, October 29

This Sunday we will read the story of Abigail the peacemaker (1 Samuel 25). The story of Nabal, Abigail, and David shows a resourceful woman who made peace and prevented violence between powerful men. In our lesson, we will explore ways that showing hospitality to others can help bring peace.

We will discuss the need and importance to share, act generously, and give freely. Living by example, we will share examples of sharing at home, and how these caring behaviors  can translate to the same kinds of acts in our larger community. Kindness and generosity are contagious.

This Sunday Morning Song begins at 8:30am in Pope Hall. Children leave the service to do their activities.
