Caring for Creation

Apr 11, 13:30pm, Menaul School, ABQ

God calls us to care for creation in this time of climate crisis. What does this look like in New Mexico? What can individuals and congregations do here in our state to answer God’s call? The Presbytery of Santa Fe Creation Care Team and Pastor Andrew invite you to this discussion on Saturday, April 11th, from 12:30-3:30pm in the Menaul School Auditorium.

Pastor Andrew will speak at the event, along with Desirée Bernard, Executive Director, New Mexico Interfaith Power and Light. Together the address:

  • What does the climate crisis look like in New Mexico?
  • What concrete steps can individuals and congregations take in response?
  • How can the Houses of Worship (HOW) Initiative of New Mexico Interfaith Power and Light empower and inspire congregations to engage in climate action?

Plan now to attend. Encourage congregational leaders to attend. Invite friends and neighbors from other faith communities to attend. The event takes place in the Menaul School Auditorium, 301 Menaul Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107.

This is a free event. A free will offering will be taken to offset expenses.
