Children & Youth, Mar 1, 10am
This month during Service Sunday, our children and youth will roll up their sleeves and plant seeds for our rooftop garden. As they plant, we will talk about how seeds need sunlight, water, and time to grow. In the same way, our faith grows when we nurture it with prayer, kindness, and love.
The rooftop garden will eventually provide beauty and nourishment for our community, and it will also remind us that small acts can grow into something meaningful.
Service Sunday will help our children see that they are already capable of making a difference. Through tending creation, they will learn that caring for the earth is one way we live out our faith—patiently, faithfully, and together.
We look forward to watching both the garden and our young gardeners grow.
The children’s program begins in the worship service, and after receiving a blessing, the children leave for their activities.
