Service for Creation Care

Celtic EvenSong, 3rd Wed, 5:30pm

God calls all humanity to care for creation and all that is in it. Throughout the ages we have not paid enough attention to cherishing all animals and plants and rivers and trees, but with Climate Change upon us it is imperative we do.  In this service, in prayer and song, we do. Join us in the sanctuary or on Zoom.

We hold our Celtic service each Wednesday, and have opened it up for Zoom attendance to enable those who cannot attend in person to join us. Each week the service centers around a theme:

  • 1st Wednesday—Justice and peace
  • 2nd Wednesday—Healing
  • 3rd  Wednesday—Creation care
  • 4th Wednesday—Welcome
  • 5th Wednesday—Commitment

To participate via Zoom, consider buying the Iona Abbey worship and music books. (The wording in the opening paragraph is adapted from the Iona Abbey Worship Book, p. 129.)

Celtic worship is part of our Presbyterian heritage. Read more about our Celtic EvenSong Service.

We hope you can join us.
