Service for Healing

EvenSong, 2nd Wed, 5:30pm

This Wednesday’s Celtic EvenSong is a service of prayers for healing. The healing of divided communities and nations, and the healing of the earth itself, have their place alongside the healing of broken bodies, hurt minds and wounded hearts, and the hurts and divisions within ourselves. Join us in the sanctuary or on Zoom.

We hold our Celtic service each Wednesday, and have opened it up for Zoom attendance to enable those who cannot attend in person to join us. Each week the service centers around a theme:

  • 1st Wednesday—Justice and peace
  • 2nd Wednesday—Healing
  • 3rd  Wednesday—Creation care
  • 4th Wednesday—Welcome
  • 5th Wednesday—Commitment

To participate via Zoom, consider buying the Iona Abbey worship and music books. (The wording in the opening paragraph is adapted from the Iona Abbey Worship Book, p. 129.)

Celtic worship is part of our Presbyterian heritage. Read more about our Celtic EvenSong Service.

We hope you can join us.
