Support Children’s Education

Donation Box in Lobby

The Santa Fe Faith Coalition is coordinating donations for two organizations that support children’s education, which includes many immigrant children: SF Public Schools’ Adelante Program and Reading Quest. See their list of needs and drop off whatever you can donate in the box in the church lobby.

The requests include:

  • Adelante:
    • 19-inch backpacks
    • 1-inch 3-ring binders
    • watercolor sets
  • Reading Quest:
    • new or gently-used & clean stuffed animals
    • toys
    • games
    • children’s books (Books should be for 1st to 8th-grade reading levels; newer graphic novels are especially wanted.)

The SF Public Schools’ Adelante Program supports children and youth in Santa Fe who are experiencing housing instability, and Reading Quest is a free tutoring program for 500+ students reading one or more years below grade level.

Our church is a member of the Santa Fe Faith Coalition, and we have long supported Adelante and Reading Quest. Your donations are much appreciated.
