Rev. Ashley Birk

Senior Pastor

The Rev. Ashley Birk is an ordained Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church (USA), and she brings with her a wealth of faithful leadership. Most recently she served the First Presbyterian Church of Bozeman (MT) as Transitional Pastor and Head of Staff. Her ministry journey has also included serving as Associate Pastor (Interim, Designated, and Installed) at the First Presbyterian Church of Kennewick in Washington state, as well as Interim Youth Director at Sewickley Presbyterian Church in Pennsylvania. In each of these communities, she has shepherded God’s people with compassion, wisdom, and a heart attuned to the Spirit’s leading. She speaks often of being deeply blessed by the congregations she has served, learning and loving abundantly through the sacred work of guiding churches in transition.

A Colorado native, Ashley came to faith during her freshman year at Colorado State University—an experience she describes as a transformative encounter with God’s grace. She holds an M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary and a B.A. in Economics from Colorado State University. Pastor Ashley is a lifelong learner, a budding watercolor artist, a Denver Broncos and women’s volleyball enthusiast, and an avid reader who cherishes meaningful, Spirit-filled conversations over a good cup of coffee.

She shares her home with her two mixed-breed dogs, Pumpkin and Koda, delightful companions who accompany her on many journeys.
