Mother’s Day on the Rooftop
Rooftop Garden, 8:30, May 12
Beginning on Mother’s Day, May 12th, our 8:30am Morning Song worship service will be on our third floor rooftop garden deck. Enjoy the trees and sky and birds singing as we worship together in this special space. We will have heaters to keep off any chill in the air.The Morning Song service will remain on the rooftop through the summer months.
The Journey Toward Antiracism
Adult Ed, May 12 & 19, 9:45am
Over the last few years, we have looked at the pervasiveness of racism in our society. Now it is time to take a hard look at our church and ourselves so we can move further in our goal of helping to dismantle racism. We will begin to do that in two adult education classes on May 12 and 19.
Children’s Program
Sunday Mornings
Our children’s program engages the children with activities on their level that help them learn about God and that frequently mirror the message of our Sunday service. This coming Sunday the children’s program begins in our 8:30am service. After receiving a blessing, the children leave the service to do their activities.
