Wise, Foolish or Wanted?

Worship, Nov 8, 8:30 & 11am

Sometimes things don’t end up going the way you expected them to go. In the Parable of the Ten Bridesmaids, Jesus makes it clear that living as if ‘there’s always a tomorrow’ isn’t realistic. And yet living as if you can prepare for every eventuality is also unrealistic. As Rev. Elizabeth Graham notes, it leaves us with the question of what Jesus’ “keep awake” truly means.

The scriptures for the day are Joshua 24:1-3a, 14-25 and Matthew 25:1-13.

We have two worship  services this Sunday, one at 8:30 in Pope Hall and the other at 11:00 in the sanctuary and via livestream.

The livestream is available through the Friday following the service, and the message portion is available on our Sunday Message page.

Read more about all our services on our Worship Services page.
