Jan McDonald, trumpet, and Linda Raney, organ, bring us this Friday’s lively concert with music by Stolzel,Willis, and Haydn. Sanctuary doors open at 5:15 pm and the concert begins at 5:30. The concert is free with donations accepted.

The Artists
Jan McDonald (trumpet) has been a mainstay of the Los Alamos music scene for decades. He is recognized nationally as an accomplished trumpet player and educator. He performs with many professional groups in New Mexico and is the recipient of the Outstanding Secondary Educator Award and the Outstanding New Mexico Jazz Educator Award.
Dr. Linda Raney plays the C. B. Fisk organ (Opus 133) at First Presbyterian and directs the Chancel Choir. She came from Indiana to Santa Fe and began her work as Director of Music and Organist at First Presbyterian in 1986. Linda founded the TGIF Concert series in October 2008, and First Presbyterian has been hosting a Friday evening concert every week since then. Artists from the Santa Fe area and around the world have given inspiring concerts at FPC.
