Ukulele Group Recruiting

Meets Tuesdays, 5:30pm

The church Tuesday evening ukulele group is welcoming new members, and singers since we also sing while strumming! You’ll either need a ukulele and the ability to strum a few basic chords (three is plenty) or be prepared to sing along or just observe.

Watch Night Service

VIDEO. We welcome Mr. Little V. West, Esq., to the pulpit to lead our Watch Night Service on New Year’s Eve at 5:30 pm. Watch Night has long been a sacred time of reflection and anticipation, dating back to December 31, 1862, when enslaved people gathered in hope on the eve of the Emancipation Proclamation. In that same spirit, we will honor the year past while looking faithfully toward the future.

Dec. 21 9:30-11:00am, Dec. 24 12pm, 5pm

As part of our beloved annual tradition, we will prepare more than 200 farolitos in the days leading up to Christmas, decorate the church on Christmas Eve afternoon, and light the candles for the Christmas Eve service.

Atalaya String Quartet

TGIF, Dec 26, 5:30pm

This Friday encounter the calming and vibrant music performed by the Atalaya String Quartet: String Quartet Open 11 and Tenebrae - version II for string quartet. Doors to the sanctuary open at 5:15pm and the concert begins at 5:30pm. The concert is free with donations accepted.

Christmas Eve Services

VIDEO. Join Pastor Andrew to celebrate the birth of the Christ child as we hold two services on Christmas Eve. Our 5:00 service embraces the families with candles, songs, bells, and youth participation. Our 8:00 service is a traditional worship service with candles, songs, and our trumpeter Jan McDonald.
