At our concert this Friday our own David Solem plays music by Prokofiev, Bartok, and Sostenuto. Doors to the sanctuary open at 5:15pm and the concert begins at 5:30pm. The concert is free with donations accepted.

David Solem
Born and raised in Washington D.C., David holds Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from the Peabody Conservatory of Music where his teachers included Lillian Freundlich, Leon Fleisher, Shirley Matthews, and Peggy Haas Howell.
David has enjoyed a long career in music performance in academic, theatrical, orchestral, chamber music, and liturgical settings. He has over 42 years of experience as a liturgical musician, organist, and choral director.
David has been a resident of Santa Fe, NM since 2010 and currently serves as assistant organist for First Presbyterian Church of Santa Fe and as principal keyboard (organ, harpsichord, piano) for Santa Fe Pro Musica where he is also principal keyboard for the Pro Musica Baroque Ensemble. He has held all of these positions since 2014.
An active performer in the northern NM area, David has appeared with the Santa Fe Symphony, the Santa Fe Desert Chorale, and the Santa Fe Women’s Ensemble. He is in frequent demand as a recitalist, accompanist, and chamber musician. David combines his music life with his clinical private practice as a diplomate Jungian psychoanalyst.
