This week our children and youth look at the story of David and Goliath (1 Samuel 17:1-58). With God’s help, we can be brave, even when things seem scary or too big. The children and youth begin in our worship service(s), and after receiving a blessing, they leave for their activities.

Youth, don’t forget to bring your bible as we will read and discuss the story of David and Goliath (1 Samuel 17:1-58).

We will explore the difficult questions of: What can we learn about God from this story? What are some ways we can grow our faith like David? How can you pray when you’re feeling scared and vulnerable? How does this story help you be brave in your own life?
