This week we will read Luke 13:10–17, where Jesus shows compassion and love to those in need and heals their pain. The children and youth begin in our worship service(s), and after receiving a blessing, they leave for their activities.

We will talk with the children about how Jesus helps and heals people in need and how each of us can find ways to help other people.

Youth Bible Study

Don’t forget to bring your bible as we will read Luke 13:10–17, and discuss how God can see us when we’re hurting—on the inside or outside.

We will explore the difficult questions of: Have you ever seen someone who looked like they needed help, but other people didn’t notice? What are some small ways you can help someone who’s hurting—at home, school, or church? How does it feel when someone helps you? Can you do that for someone else?

Helping people is always the right thing to do.
