This week the children and youth will look at the same scripture as we do in the worship service: Ephesians 6:10-18. They talk about the Armor of God and standing strong with God against evil. The children and youth begin in our worship service(s), and after receiving a blessing, they leave for their activities.

This week we talk about the Armor of God. In Paul’s letter to the church in Ephesus (Ephesians 6:10-18), he reminds them that God gives them everything they need to fight the battle against evil. We learn that we need armor too—not to fight with swords, but to stand strong with God!

Youth Bible Study

Youth, don’t forget to bring your bible as we will read Ephesians 6:10-18, and discuss how God helps us put on a suit of armor to stand strong in faith. We will dive into the meaning of each piece of armor, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the helmet of salvation, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, and the sword of the Spirit.
