Active Hope

PBM Breakfast, Oct 11, 8:30am

Our guest speaker is Desirée Bernard of Interfaith Power and Light presenting a talk entitled Active Hope. Desirée’s education at Harvard Divinity School and previous work in housing, homelessness, and behavioral health has led to a commitment to address climate change. Interfaith Power and Light’s vision is a stable climate where humans live interconnected with nature.

Desirée believes that grassroots communities are essential as federal government policies too often fail to prioritize climate challenges. They aim to inspire people of faith to take action to end our dependence on fuels that heat our world and devastate communities.

All are welcome. We do ask a suggested $2 or more donation to cover the cost of food and beverages.

Text or email Jim Elliott at 505-557-8110 or email jimelliott5247@gmail.com to be put on the monthly Evite reminders. From the Evite reminder you can do a formal RSVP.
