Worship, Dec 24, 5pm & 8pm
VIDEO. Join Pastor Andrew to celebrate the birth of the Christ child as we hold two services on Christmas Eve. Our 5:00 service embraces the families with candles, songs, bells, and youth participation. Our 8:00 service is a traditional worship service with candles, songs, and our trumpeter Jan McDonald.
The 5:00 family worship service features the lighting of candles, the Chancel Bell Choir, and a youth nativity scene. There will be no childcare for the service; families are invited to bring children of all ages to the worship service.
The 8:00 service features lighting of candles, the Chancel Choir singing “O magnum Mysterium” by Morten Lauridsen, “In the Beginning” by Egil Hovland, and “All Bells in Paradise” by John Rutter, and Jan McDonald on the trumpet with Haydn’s “Trumpet concerto mvt. 1” and Carter’s “Still, Still, Still.” The 8:00 service is also offered via livestream.
