This week, our youth and children will explore the Advent theme of love as they hear the story of Mary and Joseph welcoming baby Jesus. Through storytelling, discussion, and a simple hands-on activity, children will learn that God’s love came into the world as a gift for everyone.

The lesson invites children to think about ways they can share love—through kindness, helping others, and caring for God’s creation—as they prepare their hearts for Christmas we reflect on how we can share Christ’s joy with a world longing for good news!

The children and youth program begins in the worship services, and after they receive a blessing, they leave for their activities.

Between services, the children and youth are invited to help with making farolitos: Food, Friends & Farolitos.
