Our church actively sponsors and supports activities that provide aid to fight against hunger and homelessness, support health care and education, speak out for vulnerable populations, and advocate for policies that align with our faith. Upcoming and recent activities are shown below. We hope you can join us in these efforts.

Immigrant Accompaniment Program
Volunteer Opportunity
Immigrant families in our community are facing fear and uncertainty in their daily lives. Your presence through accompaniment says: “This person is seen. This person matters. The community is watching.” The Faith Coalition asks you to consider volunteering with Las Cumbres to walk alongside them. Volunteers receive orientation, training, supervision, and debriefing.

Next Sunday (following sandwich making at 9:30am), Sandwich Brigade Co-Chairs host a gratitude coffee hour for the volunteers who have helped make the nearly 7,000 sandwiches that we have provided to Bienvenidos. If you have helped in any way, this invitation is for YOU! Join us at 10am in Pope Hall for coffee, bagels, and fruit as we express our gratitude.

Help Needed, Sundays
Bievenidos, a food pantry our church has long supported, is experiencing a 40% increase in demand in the lunch bags that they hand out each week. To help them meet the need for 1,500 sandwiches, our church has committed to providing 250-300 sandwiches each Monday. We need your help making sandwiches on Sundays.
One Great Hour of Sharing
PC(USA) Special Offering, Mar 2026
Around the world, millions of people lack access to sustainable food sources, clean water, sanitation, education, and opportunity. Donations to PC(USA)’s One Great Hour of Sharing (OGHS) serve individual and communities in need. Place your donations in the special envelopes in the pews, mail it in, or give online. We will dedicate this offering on Palm Sunday, March 29th.
Special Easter Lily Donations
Donate by Mar 29 (Mar 27 online)
In honor of our risen Christ and the beauty of Easter, please consider buying a lily which will adorn the sanctuary on Easter. These can be purchased in memory or honor of someone and taken home following worship on Easter Sunday. Your $25 donation will have the additional benefit of helping those in our community facing food insecurity with all proceeds being designated for that purpose.
