With gratitude and joy, we celebrate the installation of these simple yet meaningful banners, lovingly placed in our Sanctuary by the Liturgical Arts team this past week. More than three years in the making, these banners are a testament to faithful creativity, prayerful dedication, and a shared vision of beauty in worship. Designed by Karin Lerew and Barb Hutchison, and skillfully crafted by Karin Lerew and Judi Haines, they now grace our sacred space during this season of Ordinary Time, inviting us to reflect on God’s presence in the rhythms of everyday life.
The paraments and chancel cloth, familiar elements of our worship setting, were designed years ago by Barb Hutchison and Judi Haines. Their artistry continues to enrich our worship experience and to remind us that beauty can be a pathway to the sacred.
The Liturgical Arts team—Malissa Haslam, Mary Norris, Becky Crutchfield, Linda St. Clair, Jeannie Bowman, and Judi Haines—looks forward to continuing this ministry through several new projects in the coming year. We welcome your thoughts, encouragement, and participation as together we seek to create spaces that inspire worship, nurture faith, and glorify God.
