VIDEO. Rev. Jeff Morgan delivers our Sunday message, “The Spirit of Juneteenth Fathers Then and Now” at our service celebrating Juneteenth in Federal Park. His wife Toni Morgan leads the singing in an African American style worship service, with Malachi Roberts playing the drums. The service is followed by a picnic with Deollo Johnson leading us in line dancing.
The scripture for the day is Psalm 78: 1-11.

Jeffery Morgan
Jeffery Morgan is a member of the Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church. He moved to New Mexico in 2013 because of a job transfer. Since residing in New Mexico, Jeffery has been an active member in the church and in the community. Jeffery is a member of the Cabezon HOA board and the Vice President of the Rio Rancho Public Schools, and he works with various Food Bank shelters to provide food for the needy. As a member of the FMBC, he is a minster, Sunday School teacher, and leader of the Men’s group. He currently resides in Rio Rancho with his wife Toni Morgan and his son Jaylen Morgan who is a member of the UNM football team and looking to graduate from the UNM Project Management Master’s Program in May of 2025. Jeffery loves to spend time motivating and encouraging people about how Jesus can make and impact in your life, if you only believe. One of his favorite bible verses is Philippians 4: 13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” He is excited to be your guest speaking for today.
Toni Morgan
We were fortunate to have Toni Morgan sign for us in our Watch Service on December 31, 2023.Toni is a former background singer for the Empress of Soul, Mrs. Gladys Knight. She and her friends perform inspiring and uplifting gospel songs. Toni moved to New Mexico in 2013 and has done numerous concerts here, including the NM State Fair, NM Expo, Santa Fe Summer Series, and NM Jazz Festival. She also performed in the Santa Fe Soul Festival this past August.
Malachi Roberts
Malachi Roberts is a musician and drummer based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He graduated from the New Mexico School for the Arts and studied shortly at the California Institute of the Arts. Musical groups he’s worked with include the Free Range Buddhas, the John Rangel Quintet, rock and soul singer Ron Crowder, and jazz vocalist Jasmin Williams.
Deollo Johnson
Dancer, dance teacher, and choreographer Deollo Johnson has been dancing most of his life. Deollo has performed professionally and taught in many venues, nationally and internationally.
