Exploring Joy

Joy is something children understand instinctively. They play, laugh, and sing with pure delight — and they easily spot joy in one another. This Sunday they will learn that joy is more than a feeling, that it is rooted in hope, peace, and love, they will begin to recognize the deeper joy that comes from being a disciple of Christ.

Celebrating Hope

This Sunday, we celebrate Hope and the first week of advent. We anticipate Jesus's birth and God's promises, recalling the prophecies from the Old Testament. It is a time to reflect on hope, faith, and the belief in God's plan for redemption. We have an advent wreath making workshop for the children and adults between services.

Never Stop Praying

Children & Youth, Oct 12, 8:30 & 11am

This Sunday we will be reading the parable of the persistent widow (Luke 18:1-8). In this story, Jesus teaches us to never give up praying and to trust that God hears us. We will discuss how we can trust that God is listening, even when it seems like nothing is happening. After receiving a blessing in the worship service, the children and youth leave for their activities.
