Movie Night, November 9
World War II American Army Medic Desmond T. Doss, serving during the Battle of Okinawa, refuses to kill people and becomes the first man in American history to receive the Medal of Honor without firing a shot. Our Spirituality and Movie Night continues November 9 in Pope Hall.
We will have a light dinner at 6:00pm, followed by the movie and a lively discussion. All are welcome. Feel free to bring friends.
The film is directed by Mel Gibson and written by Andrew Knight and Robert Schenkkan, based on the 2004 documentary The Conscientious Objector directed by Terry Benedict.
