Adult Ed, May 18, 9:45am

This Sunday we hold our third listening sessions during the adult ed hour. Rev. Victor Nelson, who facilitated the second session, will lead us in continuing to explore the times we have faced challenges and then turned them into opportunities. Join us May 18th at 9:45 in McFarland Chapel and on Zoom.

The Session wants to hear from you as we approach a change in pastoral leadership. We are recording these sessions, but for privacy purposes, we will not be publishing the recording, just using the recordings for notes. These notes will  help the Session and the Pastor Nominating Committee complete the Mission Discernment Profile, a document that must be created before we can begin the search for a new pastor.

What do we want our church TO BE  in the next 5 years?  And what should we as the entire church DO in the next few years.

Our current vision for the church is ”Growing the Beloved Community.” We actively engage society to nurture lives, cherish creation, and heal the world. What does being at our best look like? How do we get there?
