Threat or Rescuer?  It’s been a wearying storm-tossed night for the disciples. A mysterious figure appears, walking on the choppy sea. Rev. Elizabeth Graham points out that like Peter, when we are in rough waters, fear often bullies our faith away, leaving us fishing for assurances and questioning what our heart knows.

The first scripture selection is Psalm 69:1-3, 13-16, and the second selection is Matthew 14:22-33.
