The Artists
Mark Clark is an organist and passionate music educator based in Amarillo, Texas. He currently serves as the Music Director and Organist at Trinity Lutheran Church, where he leads a growing music ministry rooted in the historic Lutheran tradition. Mark studied organ under the direction of the late David Spicer and Edgar Highberger, developing a musical voice that blends technical mastery with expressive depth. In addition to his work at Trinity Lutheran, Mark is an active performer and collaborator, dedicated to fostering the next generation of musicians. He is especially proud to share the stage with his student, Careese Todd, in this upcoming organ concert—a celebration of mentorship, sacred music, and the enduring beauty of the pipe organ.
Careese Todd is a 12-year-old musician from Amarillo, Texas, with a growing passion for the organ. She has studied piano for five years and organ for the past two, already showing remarkable dedication and promise. Careese currently serves as the interim organist for the 8:00 AM service at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Amarillo, where she contributes her talents to weekly worship. She plans to begin participating in organ competitions next year as she continues to grow in both skill and confidence.
