Macedonian pianist and composer, Natasha Stojanovska is currently completing her Doctorate of Musical Arts at Northwestern University. She received her Artist Diploma and Master of Music in Piano Performance from Indiana University, and Bachelor of Music from Lynn University. Her primary teachers include Alexander Toradze, Ketevan Badridze, James Giles, Roberta Rust, Rebecca Penneys and Todor Svetiev. Ms. Stojanovska has performed solo and chamber music recitals in France, Portugal, Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Romania, South Korea, Haiti, and the United States.

Her honors include:  The American Prize, Samuel Thaviu/Isaak Piano Performance Competition, Southern Illinois Young Artists Competition, Petar Konjovich International Competition, Isidor Baich International Music Competition, Wideman International Piano Competition and Indianapolis Matinee Musicale Collegiate Competition. Her performances have been broadcast, among others, on WUSF Public Media, Macedonian Radio and Television, WFMT Chicago, WNIT Public Television, and KHFM. She represented the Bienen School of Music at the prestigious Gilmore Piano Festival and she was a composition and piano consultant for Renee Fleming and for jazz artist Patricia Barber’s Song Project.

Most Recently, Ms. Stojanovska was the pianist for a performance by world renowned violinist, Rachael Barton Pine at The Union Club of Chicago; In addition, she was the pianist for the Chatter Concert Series, collaborating with Grammy Award winner, flutist, Molly Barth, in Albuquerque, NM.

She is currently an active performing member of the New Mexico Performing Arts Society and Chicago Musicians Club of Women. Ms. Stojanovska has recently relocated to Santa Fe and is in the process of the recording her CD Album on piano music by Eastern European Women Composers.
