Opening Day

Worship, 6:30 (Caja), 9:30 (Fed Park), 11 (Sanctuary)

Trauma turns to terrified turns to remembering turns to amazement.  This is the sequence of Easter and holds the promise of new openings in our lives. Come discover these openings in three different places, 6:30 at the Caja del Rio, 9:30 at Federal Park, and 11:00 in our sanctuary. Our scripture this Easter Sunday is Luke 24:1-12.

6:30am Sunrise service on the Caja del Rio

You won’t want to miss this truly New Mexican Easter Service as we watch the Sunrise over the Mountains, sing hymns, pray prayers, hear the Easter story, and enjoy fellowship in one of the most remarkable cultural and sacred places in all of New Mexico.

Meet at the La Cieneguilla Petroglyph Parking Lot by 6:20 am.  Refreshments will be served following the service. Come for food, fun, and fellowship!

9:30am MorningSong at Federal Park

MorningSong Service is a participatory service for all ages, with special participation by the children and youth of the church. Bring a chair or blanket to sit on.

(And following the MorningSong service is the Easter Egg Hunt at Federal Park.)

11:00am Service in the Sanctuary

Join us for a traditional service featuring joyous Easter Hymns, organ, trumpet, and choir. Our Chancel Choir sings “This Joyful Eastertide” (arr. Vernon Hoyle), and Jan McDonald plays the trumpet. This service is also offered via livestream.
