Susan Weber’s Christmas Shop

PM Breakfast, Dec 9, 8am

Susan Weber, owner of Susan’s Christmas Shop, is the guest speaker at Saturday’s Prepared by Men’s Breakfast. As a young housewife, she discovered her talent in making Christmas ornaments, which later grew into her own shop. And now she is also an internationally famous author.

Susan is a child of our church whose parents, Col. Al and Cathy Topp, instilled in her a wanderlust, especially for travel in the country credited with starting the Christmas tree tradition, Germany. Some of you will remember Al and Cathy and their devotion to serving others including those in the Contemporary Worship service here.

Susan’s talent for making Christmas ornaments burgeoned into selling them to shops and then into another talent—dealing directly with customers—which lead to her opening her own shop. And then she developed another talent, that of transforming her life into words. After the head of Gibbs Smith Publishers spotted her sparkling gem of expression, she soon achieved international fame for her three books and multiple editions and expectations for her forthcoming forth book, all of which she will readily autograph.

If you can, please study Mathew 25:14-30 and Philippians 4:13 before arriving to the breakfast.

For this breakfast there will be a surprise planned by John Whitcomb, chief cook emeritus and quartermaster. John has been an integral part of Men’s Breakfast for over 40 years. John says, “We will have French-o Toast-o with a secret spice you will discover upon arrival, along with sausage and juice,” and and we will have any last minute food we are graced with from attendees. Gluten free options are available.
