Carla Moore (Violin)

Known for her strong leadership and compelling musicality, Carla Moore is one of America’s foremost Baroque violinists. Carla serves as concertmaster of Portland Baroque Orchestra, is a long-standing member of Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, and frequently serves as concertmaster and soloist with groups throughout the West Coast. She began her career in New York City where she performed and toured with conductors including Sir Roger Norrington, Joshua Rifkin and Christopher Hogwood. Carla has performed at international music festivals in Britain, Europe and the USA including Tanglewood, Ravinia and Carmel Bach Festivals. She has an extensive discography of orchestral and chamber music, including videos on You Tube with Voices of Music, viewed by millions worldwide. Carla taught at the University of California, Berkeley for two decades and has led

masterclasses at colleges including Northwestern and the San Francisco Conservatory. Carla and her husband recently relocated to Santa Fe, New Mexico, where they are enjoying immersing themselves in the culture, history and beauty of their new home. www.carlamoore.net

Kathleen McIntosh (Harpsichord)

Kathleen McIntosh is a member of the early music groups Market Music and Severall Friends. She performed with Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival from 1996-2024, and frequently appeared with Santa Fe Symphony, New Mexico Philharmonic and the Santa Fe Desert Chorale.

Kathleen has traveled the world performing in festivals in Russia, Vietnam, Peru, Cuba and Germany. An enthusiastic promoter of contemporary music for her instrument, she has premiered works by

Melinda Wagner, Leo Brouwer, Lei Liang and Gregory Spears among many others as part of Chatter, The Vail Valley Bravo! Festival and in chamber music performances. Last summer, she premiered a work by Reema Esmail as part of the Music at Angel Fire festival. Kathleen enjoys teaching

masterclasses in Cuba as part of Semana Sacra, in Peru at the National Conservatory in Lima and Poland at the Diecezjalny Instytut Musyki Koscielnej in Opole. Kathleen McIntosh can be heard on Maricam and Gasparo recordings.
