Working with Wisdom

Workshop, Sat morning, Sep 26

As disciples of Christ, we want to help our neighbors. But do we truly understand who they are? Do we know what our own blind spots are when it comes to doing this work? The Rev. Dr. Amantha Barbee helps us answer these questions in her upcoming workshop. Join us in Pope Hall Saturday morning, September 26th for a close look at these issues.

The scripture focus for the workshop is 1 Corinthians 2.

Venue

The workshop will be held in First Presbyterian Church’s Pope Hall. Please arrive by 8:15 to get your coffee and pastries so we can begin at 8:30.

You will get the most out of this workshop by attending in person, but if you are unable to do so, we will have it available via Zoom. We will not be sharing a video of the session later.

Child Care

We will be offering child care services for those who request it. For these services, please contact Judy Crawford by Monday, September 21st.

In Depth Follow Up

After this Saturday morning workshop, there will be two follow up Zoom sessions for workshop attendees who would like to go deeper into the insights revealed in the workshop. These sessions will be recorded and available on a confidential basis to those who attended the Saturday workshop.

We do hope you can join us for this deeper look into our calling as disciples of Christ.
