At our Feb 5 annual meeting, the 2022 Annual Report was distributed, and that report is now online. Over 28 reports showcase mission, worship, education, congregational care, and stewardship activities.

At the annual congregational meeting, Pastor Harry welcomed us and Pastor Andrew updated us on our family ministry and other activities. Dennis Sanderson, Chair of the Finance and Investment Committees, updated attendees on the results of the 2022 fiscal year and the budget for 2023. Roger Said, Chair of Nominating Committee presented elected elders and deacons, who were unanimously elected (see page 5 of the Annual Report). Pastor Harry led a celebration of 2022, emphasizing our new theme of “Growing the Beloved Community.” Rev. Mary Kuhns led a service of memorial for those who have passed away in the last year.

At the brief congregational meeting that followed, Judi Haines, Clerk of Session, presented the corporate officers appointed by the Session. Bill Eklund, President, presented updated bylaws, which were approved.

After the meetings, we assembled in Pope Hall for a hearty potluck and some heartwarming fellowship.
