VIDEO. This Pentecost Sunday, Pastor Ashley leads us to look at what it means to us as individuals and as the body of Christ to be gifted with the Spirit and to bring our gifts to the work we feel called to do in the world. The scriptures for the day are: Acts 2:1-21 and 1 Corinthians 12:1-13.

Living in Light of Eternity

VIDEO. This Sunday, Pastor Ashley concludes our Eastertide sermon series titled Living as Easter People. As we struggle to remain faithful in these times, we’ll look to the final chapters of 1 Peter which remind us that God has called us to eternal glory in Christ and which encourage us to be guided by a longer view of time and live with God’s end in mind.

This Sunday focuses on where we find our identity as we explore “Living as God’s Own.” The scriptures for the day are Psalm 118:1, 19-24 and 1 Peter 2:1-10. VIDEO. In this season of Eastertide, Pastor Ashley begins a new sermon series called Living as Easter People. The first sermon this Sunday focuses on Living into Hope even in troubling times. The scriptures for the day are Isaiah 51:1-6 and 1 Peter 1:1-9, 13-25. Services are held at 8:30 in Pope Hall and at 11:00 in the sanctuary and via livestream.

Embodiment: Earth Day Edition

VIDEO. In this dynamic dialogical sermon, Pastor Andrew and L.V. West engage in a conversation about what does it mean to embody our faith today as Christians in America. Journey with these two law school classmates as they discuss what these texts mean for our spirituality, work, witness Earth Day, and social justice. The scriptures for the day are Genesis 2:4-7 and Ezekiel 3:1-11.

Easter Faith, Easter Doubt

Worship, Apr 12, 8:30 & 11am

VIDEO. This Sunday morning Pastor Ashley leads us in two worship services. The MorningSong service is held in Pope Hall at 8:30, and the traditional service is held at 11:00 in the sanctuary. Scriptures for the day are 1 Peter 1:3-9 and John 20:19-31 (the story of Doubting Thomas). The 11:00 service is also available via livestream.

Traditional Easter Service

Worship, Apr 5, 11:00am

VIDEO. On Easter morning, Pastor Ashley leads us in a traditional Easter worship service with her message, “Who are you looking for?” The service features joyous Easter hymns, organ, trumpet, and choir. The scriptures for the service are Isaiah 25:6-9 and John 20:1-18. Join us at 11am in the sanctuary or via livestream.
